Frequently Asked Question About: Stones

1.  Will the stones look exactly like they do on the site?
Because most of my stones are natural products, there can be some variation in color and size.  I try to keep the colors similar within the necklace, but it is often possible to make three necklaces of totally different colors out of one batch of stones.  For website orders, I try to use stones that are closest to the "average" colors for that particular stone.

2.  Where do you get your stones?
Lots of different places!  I order them online, go to gem and jewelry shows, and occasionally will even trade a necklace for interesting stones.  I order in bulk and by wholesale, so as to pass the savings on to you.

3.  Do you use anything other than stone?
Some of the items listed under "Stones" are actually shell, or even glass!  However, I also do necklaces out of Swarovski crystal, Czeck glass, and just about anything else that you can strong on a wire.  If you have a special request, just let me know.

4.  Are these the only stones you have?
Nope.  These are just the most popular ones.  At last count, I had over 300 different colors, shapes, and sizes of stones.  I can't always get certain stones for a good price, so I only list those stones which I'm sure I'll be able to provide my "long distance" customers. 

5.  I don't like any of these stones, but I want a necklace!
