Frequently Asked Question About: Necklaces
1. Do you make these all by hand?
Every single one. Sometimes I will sucker a friend into making one, but most of them are done by me. I've seen them done by machine, but the quality isn't quite the same.
2. How do you do that!?!
I listen to a lot of TV.
3. Are these the only styles you do? What if I want a different style?
I am always on the look out for new designs and styles. If you have an idea for some thing different, I will be happy to try it out.
4. What if I want two identical necklaces?
No two necklaces are exactly alike. The natural stones can be slightly different colors, chip stones are rarely the exact same shape, and while the wraps are *almost* uniform, they're not perfect. I can make you two necklaces of the same color wire, with the same type of stone, and they may look completely different.
5. Can you make me a matched set?
Of course!
6. Can you make the necklace longer/shorter? Will the price change?
If you select a Now Available necklace and want it shorter, the price won't change, because the time it takes to shorten the necklace is offset by the savings of removing the stones. If you want a longer necklace, it is $1 per inch, (up to 4 inches) for most necklaces. Anything longer than that, and you might as well special order.
7. I can make that! Why should I buy it from you?
I've been making necklaces, first as a hobby and then as a business, since 2001. I have collected hundreds of stones, developed contacts with wholesalers around the world, and made a huge mess of my dining room, all so that I can provide my customers with a one of a kind piece of art. I've got the supplies, the tools, the muscle memory, and the callouses required to turn out a beautiful necklace. You could probably make one of my necklaces by yourself, but be honest. Will you?
8. Do you have your rosaries blessed?
I feel that having your item of religious jewelry blessed is a very personal thing that should be done by someone who is meaningful to the owner, whether you be Christian, Jewish, Islamic, Buddist, or Pagan. For this reason, I do not have any of my religious jewelry blessed prior to shipping. You should contact your local religous figure for this service. They will be happy to help you out. No promises for those living in Vatican City.
